These roles are ideal for people who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You may be responsible for some or all of the following: Running shifts as a Duty Manager. Managing the checkout service and customer returns. Customer support. Delivering sales initiatives. Store standards and security. Goods inward. Warehouse storage and retrieval. Management support. Skilled Mechanical Fitter required to fit, and assemble the structural components of various mechanical systems within their existing team on an ongoing temporary basis, based in Sunderland. The successful candidate will have excellent track record of working in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment. Main Duties: Analysing the blueprints for mechanical systems to determine the specifications of the components to be constructed. Using and maintaining specialised machines and tools Assembling components so they are ready for installation Reading and interpreting project plans Finding and fixing faults in pipework Replacing damaged or defective structural components as needed. Carrying out planned maintenance checks Adhering to all work-site safety rules and regulations. Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor. What we need from you: You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience You should be able to safely use hand and power tools as well as demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. You Must have an industry recognised qualification / Appropriate certification. The ability to interpret blueprints for mechanical systems. You should be detail-oriented, focused, and adept at interpreting blueprints. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.
