Exciting opportunity working with one of London's most recognised Local Authorities, currently my client are in the market for an experience Fire Risk Assessor to join the Housing Department.
As the Interim Fire Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting Fire Risk Assessments for a diverse portfolio of properties owned by the Council.
You will work collaboratively with other professionals, including the Asbestos Manager, Building Services Engineer, and Facilities Manager, to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain a safe environment for occupants.
Your role will involve assessing approximately 10,500 tenanted homes, 240 corporate and commercial operational properties, including high-rise tower blocks, medium-rise blocks of flats, and low-rise blocks of flats.
You will be responsible for the completion of property safety inspections on behalf of the Housing Landlord Compliance Service, ensuring premises are maintained and legal and corporate standards for Fire and Health/Safety are met.
