JOB Production Manager (engineering / manufacturing) LOCATION Berkshire TERM- Permanent SALARY Up to £35,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) We are looking for a Production Manager, Manufacturing manager or similar on a permanent basis in the Berkshire area (near Maidenhead, Taplow and Burnham). Your main duties will include overseeing the day to day running of production and management of production staff. This would also be well suited to a Supervisor, Team Leader, Assembly leader or similar title looking to step up. The Production / Manufacturing Manager will ideally have the following attributes: Qualified in a relevant Engineering / Manufacturing Degree or through experience in a similar role. Understanding of Production / Manufacturing Managerresponsibilities Familiar with Six sigma, line balancing, lean manufacturing or any other similar continuous improvement practices and methods. Able to communicate with other members of staff and management. Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written Experience of working in electronics or electro-mechanical manufacturing. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Ability to work independently as well as team Exposure to soldering or similar processes advantageous. The Production / Manufacturing Manager role will involve: Managing the day to day running of production. Management of the production team. Planning upcoming changes to production. Introducing new products to manufacturing. Helping to advise on factory layout. Address any issues that pop up in day-to-day manufacturing. Make sure production projects have the correct input. The Opportunity The Commercial Manager is responsible for the long-term support of the Key Accounts, including commercial management, invoicing, raising POs and other duties. You will be producing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and forecasts. As well as updating and managing the CRM/Power BI weekly, utilising reports for customers both internally and externally. The role will involve: Attending face-to-face client meetings weekly (over Teams and in person) Providing support to other members of the commercial team Resolving any issues and problems faced by customers and dealing with complaints, change requests and amendments in order to maintain trust and a good working relationship. Supporting internal departments to help improve workflows. Producing and working to account development plans/quarterly sales presentations, team objectives and the company's core values. About You To be successful as the Commercial Manager, you will have proven experience in a similar role and be confident and comfortable communicating to people at all levels of the hierarchy. You will have excellent knowledge in how to resolve issues and deal with customer complaints in a professional and timely manner. You will also have/be: Experience in producing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and forecasts.
