You might not want to be a financial planner but that doesn't mean you don't enjoy working with clients. But all too often people aren't trusted with client relationships. You might take the odd call but more often than not you're very much behind the scenes. Out of sight and out of mind. This modern IFA firm is set up in a way that's different to most. It's not adviser heavy with an overworked support team frantically whirring away in the background. And it's not a business that puts planners on pedestals, consigning you to the back office well away from clients. Instead they have more staff supporting planners than planners themselves. And they make sure each planner gets the level of dedicated support they need. Like their advice to clients, it's all very bespoke. They're hiring a Client Manager because one planner has three people working with them. They're busy and need to hire number four, which is where you come in. Client Managers are nothing if not empowered here. You'll be front and centre when it comes to clients. You'll sit in on client meetings. You'll become the first port of call for those clients. You'll free up your planner for business development ensuring the company grows and grows. In short you'll be indispensable. They're a successful outfit with £150m AUM (clients have £250,000 invested) and £1.5m turnover. Like most successful firms they value input. You'll work together to get the best outcomes for clients - there's no hierarchy and knowing your place here. There's variety to your work. There are aspects of paraplanning. There are aspects of administration. But you'll learn the most from the time you spend with clients and seeing the advice process up close. They'll look after you too. There's a starting salary of up to £32,000 and as you progress your pay will too. You get an extra £1,000 for every R0 paper you pass and an extra £2,000 for every AF paper. Given you'll have the support to go through to Chartered status your salary will comfortably be in the £40,000s by the time you get to level 6. There is no onsite parking but there's plenty of street parking within a 5 minute walk. There is some flexibility over time in the office but given your client focus you'll be in the office most days. Those offices have recently been refurbished. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED: You'll be a financial planning administrator or junior paraplanner. You'll enjoy/want a client centric job in a client centric firm. And you'll be keen to move beyond level 4 to Chartered status. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ready to be front and centre when it comes to client relationships? Click apply. If you don't have a CV just send us a way of contacting you and we can get to the CV later. Everyone will receive a response.
