Description Finance Analyst Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions, including profitability analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and investment appraisals. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives. Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and performance metrics to senior management. Cost Control: Monitor and analyze project and operational costs, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Data Management: Maintain and update financial data in the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Profile Educational Background: Working toward a professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are highly desirable. Experience: Proven experience as a finance analyst, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with financial modeling and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Financial Analyst, Milton Keynes, Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA, £65,000 bonus and generous benefits Our client, a well-established and highly reputable services group, is seeking a qualified Financial Analyst to join their efficient UK finance team. The role is a senior position, responsible for the delivery of high-quality financial support information to senior management. As the Financial Analyst, your responsibilities will include: Production & delivery of monthly accounts and documentation Review P&L in detail and report findings to CFO on a monthly basis Provide accurate, timely financial analysis to key stakeholders Streamline and develop financial reporting processes Support annual budgeting and annual audit processes For the Financial Analyst role, we are looking for someone who is ideally ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified with post qualification experience. Someone who is highly IT literate, with advanced Excel skills and ideally is a confident SAP user. This individual will also be self-motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines as required by the senior management team. Someone who has ideally had team management experience.
