The Temp Financial Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Accounting & Finance department of a renowned Not For Profit organisation. They will ensure accurate financial reporting and work in a Business partnering capacity with the Commercial side of the organisation Client Details This is a reputable and large-scale Not For Profit organisation, headquartered in Cardiff. Known for its commitment to public service, the organisation boasts a substantial workforce that is dedicated to achieving its mission. Description This is a great opportunity for a Qualified Accountant/QBE to join this large Not for Profit organisation, based in Cardiff, as a Financial Accountant/Finance Business Partner Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. 3 separate sets of Statutory Accounts are produced due to the set up of the organisation. 1 Ltd co, 1 charity, 1 Public Sector. Take a lead on budget setting for the Commercial Income generation side of the organisation. Produce month end management accounts for the Income generation side of the organisaton and act as the lead finance business partner for this area. Be a point of contact for the external Auditors. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Improving systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the finance department. Collaborating with other departments to provide financial guidance and support. Lead a small team of 4 staff Profile A successful Temp Financial Accountant should have: A finance qualification, ideally ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA. QBE's with relevant skills will be considered Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. excellent budget setting skills Job Offer An hourly wage up to £35, including holiday pay (c£55,000), depending on qualifications and experience. The opportunity to work in the rewarding Not For Profit sector. Hybrid working, 2 days a week on site Initially 2 - 3 months, but may get extended or go Perm for the right person
