We are delighted to be partnering with a global not for profit organisation based in the city centre of Cambridge as they seek to recruit a Finance Officer to join their team. This role is newly created due to business growth, and within the role you will report into the Finance Manager. This role will be worked on a hybrid basis, with travel to the office required a minimum of once per week. As the incoming Finance Officer, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities, including but not limited to: Monthly bank reconciliations Processing and reconciling credit card data Processing and reconciling staff expenses Assist with journal processing Assisting with ERP and VAT related queries Additional duties at the discretion of your line manager As the successful candidate in this role, you will ideally possess previous experience working in a similar level accountancy role. You will also have excellent communication skills, be a team player and have good excel skills. This role will be worked on a hybrid basis, with travel to the office required a minimum of once per week. As the incoming Finance Project Assistant, you will be trained and tasked with the following duties: Data entry and processing via the ERP system for various projects Updating forecasts with the relevant Finance Business Partners Maintaining the financial systems and procedures Assisting with bank reconciliations and journals as required Assisting with audit preparation As the successful candidate in this role, you will ideally possess previous experience working in a similar level accountancy role. You will also have excellent excel skills and be comfortable with data processing. You will also have an inquisitive working approach in order to excel in the analytical elements of this position.
