We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join a prestigious membership body and charity, operating with responsibility for day-to-day financial management of the organisation, working closely with accountants to review management accounting information and prepare accounts, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager: Oversee all income and expenditure processing, maintaining and improving bookkeeping and accounting systems. Maintain all ledgers and journals, and act as key contact with the organisation's bank. Prepare for annual financial audits and ensure their successful delivery with external auditors. File annual return to the Charity Commission and Companies House. Undertake any budgeting and forecasting responsibilities. Ensure compliance with relevant financial legislation. Qualifications, Skills and Experience of the Finance Manager: Qualified through an approved body, including ACA, ACMA, CIPFA, CIMA, DoChM. At least three years' experience of working in finance in a charity environment. Experience of production of budgets, management accounts analysis, and leading annual audit processes. Highly attentive to detail and analytical, with practical knowledge of SAGE accounting software and production of accounts to Trial Balance level. Salary and Benefits: £37,000 to £45,000 pro rata. Permanent role, available to work either as a full-time position or 80% FTE. Hybrid working pattern; based in an office in Central London, with provision for remote working.
