I am delighted to be supporting a leading employer in Manchester in their search for a Finance Manager. The position is initially being recruited as a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a period of exciting change though there is the possibility of the position becoming permanent. The role will support the leadership of the management accounts function as well as supporting wider projects within the finance team. Responsibilities Prepare monthly Group P&L reporting and variance analysis. Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations for various business areas. Review accruals, prepayments and provisions, maintaining a detailed audit trail for all manual entries. Manage risks and opportunities on the balance sheet Work closely with the wider finance department to understand financial movements. Work alongside Commercial Finance team to review financial forecasts, report variances, and assist in the formulation of the budget. Manage a team of management accountants This position is ideally suited to a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) who is keen to add value and drive change.
