Finance Assistant Location: Folkestone, Kent Job Type: Temporary Salary: Competitive We are currently seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant for a temporary position with our client based in Folkestone, Kent. This role is ideal for someone who has a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers. The successful candidate will support our finance team with daily accounting tasks, contributing to the efficient operation of the finance department. Day-to-day of the role: Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports, including but not limited to, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Processing invoices and managing accounts payable and receivable. Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies. Assisting with budget preparation and expense management. Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity. Learning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience in a finance role is preferred. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping skills. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Benefits: Competitive salary.
