Technical duties : Provide support to the development of all external provider and related financial system modules. Support the identification of and development of solutions to financial system issues. Provide information for financial and other management reports, as and when required. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the CA's financial systems. Work with internal and external colleagues on system upgrades and other system related projects. In liaison with other finance colleagues, lead and ensure all finance system development procedure / process notes, user guides and associated information are reviewed, up to date, tested, developed / improved and communicated on a timely basis. Lead on financial system product reviews (full system or modules), undertaking assessments of current systems and preparing business cases for proposed changes. Provide advice and support to all directorates on processes to achieve increased efficiency and compliance across the organisation. Provide technical development support for all finance systems. Understand the CA's finance processes, financial systems and underlying technology. Support the wider Finance team in ensuring that Financial Regulations are being adhered to consistently across the CA. To be a main point of contact between financial systems providers and the CA. Ensure all systems development complies with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations). Undertake any other duties commensurate with the general level of responsibility of this post.
