You will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, financial planning and analysis, as well as budget management. Oversee and agree and maintain effective financial controls including monitoring of projects with timesheet analysis. Manage Sales Ledger - client invoices, remittances, and statements - maintain A/R Summary Raise monthly reports and invoices for time spent - hourly rate projects Process expenses claims, payroll / RTI submissions / PAYE P32 / Tax payments, NEST Process tax payments in conjunction with the accountant. Process quarterly VAT returns and Tax Payments Manage Purchase Ledgers - supplier invoices, payments and statements - maintain A/P Summary. End of Month payment for suppliers. Reconcile bank account(s) and credit card statements, and petty cash. Assist with practice HR (staff details, recruitment, induction, appraisals, maintaining employee records). Update and Issue SMT, Employee Handbook, H&S Book. Assist Accountant with EOY accounts, and reports. Prepare month end financial reports, monthly management accounts. Credit control, send statements and liaise with project leaders regarding unpaid invoices. The Candidate for the Finance Executive: A knowledge of QuickBooks and knowledge of payroll would be very beneficial to this role. You need to be able to demonstrate a successful finance / office management career to date, where you have had exposure to high standards of delivering financial information in a controlled, detailed and punctual fashion. Your detailed financial acumen is more important than the industry or sector that you have previously worked within.
