We are seeking an Assistant Finance Business Partner to support the Accounting & Finance team, providing business partnering and strategic financial advice on projects and implementations.

To co-ordinate, support and develop the provision of high quality professional financial information, advice, accountancy and budgetary services to Council Departments and external agencies.
Key tasks
Prepare annual revenue and capital estimates, in partnership with departmental budget managers, in compliance with corporate procedures, timescales and financial regulations.

The role is focussed around accruals, prepayments, booking invoices, making payments, processing journals, intercompany transactions and will suit a hands-on doer who has ideally worked in a PLC environment previously.
