The Finance Director will play a hands-on pivotal role in their continued success. The job; Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Finance Director will oversee all financial aspects of business operations. This hands-on role encompasses managing a small transactional team while providing strategic financial guidance to drive business growth. Lead and manage the finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the accurate and timely execution of financial tasks. Oversee the full accounts function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Develop robust financial controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Work closely with the Managing Director and senior management team to develop financial strategies that support business objectives and drive profitability. Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance function to enhance overall performance and productivity. Collaborate with other departments to support decision-making and ensure alignment of financial goals with operational objectives. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
