Job Role: Field Infrastructure Engineer Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 plus benefits Location: Remote / Site based across the UK Work Pattern: Mon - Fri, mostly 8.00 AM to 4.00 PM but flex needed Travel: Field based position, you will be provided with a vehicle. Summary: We are looking for an Infrastructure Field Engineer to join a well-established UK company. You will provide customer-focused technical support to a range of internal users. As a field engineer it will be your responsibility to provide an onsite presence at their sites to facilitate, setup and repair of all IT equipment. You will be provided with a company vehicle, overnight stays will be required (obviously not at your costs, and meal allowances are also included). The Role: The scope of the work covers all IT Infrastructure and you are responsible for developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimising key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications system. The role covers a wide variety of BAU work, project work, troubleshooting issues and more so no two days will be the same Responsibilities: Install, configuration and support of network connectivity, printers, remote services, workstation and mobile/ tablets. Support Microsoft Office Document technical specifications and reports Perform and review depot IT audits Proactive site visits to ensue smooth running of IT systems Required Skills: Full Clean Driving Liscence Active Directory Cisco Network Infrastructure Experience Windows Server We do need people with some experience in a support capacity, but we can consider people who are looking to working in the field for the first time. The company can offer a wide variety of train and development opportunities to improve your skills but we need experience troubleshooting problems, ideally within a Microsoft environment and strong communication skills.
