As a Storekeeper, you'll be working within the Support Services team to provide comprehensive stores support for Aldershot garrison, covering sourcing, selection, and purchase of goods to ensure a smooth supply of parts to the Engineering Maintenance team. You're responsible for making sure the people who need parts and equipment get them when it's needed. You also keep detailed records of every item and material that moves in and out of your doors. You should have experience working in a maintenance/logistics environment and will need to understand basic inventory, warehousing, and stock procedures. Additionally, you'll need to understand Health and Safety, because compliance with management of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) including the issue of correct and in date supporting documentation is an important part of this role. You'll also need a high level of IT skills to support these activities. You should be a good team member, able to prioritise your own work as well as providing assistance with the work of others when required. But first, meet the team...
