Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and proficiency in planning, executing, and completing tasks within designated timeframes. Self-initiative and the capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team. Understanding of operational procedures and the capability to identify areas for improvement, change, or update. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to oversee others effectively. Proficiency in problem-solving and leadership. Flexibility to accommodate operational projects as per company requirements. Job Tasks and Responsibilities: Oversee the operational team to ensure they meet customer needs and requirements effectively. Manage staff workload and provide cover during operational requirements. Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Customer Profiles. Delegate tasks efficiently to the operational team, ensuring clear communication and accountability. Maintain effective communication with the team, other departments, and branches. Address customer queries promptly and professionally, resolving issues to the satisfaction of all parties involved. Demonstrate the ability to perform under pressure, organizing and prioritizing tasks accordingly. Motivate team members to achieve departmental goals and maintain high levels of productivity. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times. Provide assistance to the Assistant Manager with month-end and reporting tasks. Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested by the management team. You will have preferably worked in a high-speed manufacturing environment or somewhere similar. The Role They are seeking to recruit an experienced Supervisor to join their Operations team on site in Fife. This role will work closely with their operations management team to drive and deliver operational performance, through the motivation and encouragement of their greatest asset - their people.
