Job Title: Food and Beverage Assistant Location: Havant Contract Type: Bank (including weekends) Salary: £11.50 per hour About the Role Hampshire County Council are currently looking for Food Beverage Assistants at Staunton Farm located in the heart of Havant. It sits on the historic Staunton estate, which features beautifully landscaped parkland, our ornamental gardens, tropical glasshouse, and the farm itself with our Farmhouse Caf which is a must visit for our visitors What is the day-to-day of the role: To prepare and serve food and drink items in line with specifications Ensuring that every customer receives the highest levels of customer service and product on visiting the park Ensure that all aspects of food and drink preparation is carried out in accordance with food safety training and the Countryside Food Safety Management System Ensuring that every customer receives the highest levels of customer service and product on visiting the Farmhouse cafe Resolving guest issues and escalate complaints to the shift/duty manager when appropriate. Ensuring that all communication with colleagues and guests is professional and conducive to creating a happy, safe, and efficient environment. Required Skills and Qualifications Following strict hygiene and safety rules. Completes customer transactions efficiently. Performs general cleaning duties. Works to achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets set by the Catering Manager. Uses their initiative and being proactive to contribute towards a successful shift.
