Paralegal Newcastle, £65k Hybrid Working - 6 month FTC A highly successful, global business are looking for a Paralegal to join their team on an initial 6 month FTC. Please note the offices are based in Gateshead, Newcastle. The role offers hybrid working (3 days in the office and 2 days working from home) and there is a possibility the role could be made permanent after the initial fixed term period. Candidates will need to be available for an immediate start. As Paralegal, reporting into the Head of Legal, you will be drafting and reviewing client contracts, conducting legal research, supporting stakeholders in various internal teams with ad hoc queries and ensuring the contracts reflect pricing models and are approved by the appropriate teams. Your key responsibilities as Paralegal will include contract drafting, review and execution and preparation of NDA's, MSA's, SOW's and DPA's. You will implement contract amendments, coordinate the signature process via DocuSign and draft and manage responses to escalated customer concerns and disputes. You will attend campaign review meetings and flag legal issues for follow up, support project managers with legal queries, support compliance with data security, privacy related audits, and audits and risk management/reviews. You will also be involved with assisting on court proceedings, supporting legal and compliance with vendor onboarding packs and will assist customer services with data privacy queries. The ideal candidate will hold a Law Degree (2:1 or above), a CILEX Diploma, LPC, SQE or Bar Course or Paralegal certificate is desirable. You will have strong working knowledge of data privacy/GDPR, be familiar with consumer law and CAP code with strong research and writing and contract drafting skills. The salary on offer for the role is up to £65,000 per annum pro rata.
