Job Role: Factory Operative Location or Commutable from: Leicestershire / Coalville LE67 Shift: Days, Monday to Friday 7:00am till 15:00pm Pay Rate / Salary: £11.71 per hour Overtime Pay Rates: £17.57 per hour for all hours worked over 37.5 hours including Saturday / £23.42 per hour for Sunday working. The Candidate Requirements: The ideal candidate for the Factory Operative position will be punctual, hardworking, have a flexible approach and reliable - with full training provided on site in the first week. Ability to work independently and take instructions from supervisors to complete tasks as required. Previous manufacturing experience, preferably in the timber frame industry (desired). Competency with pneumatic hand tools, using a tape measure, nail guns (desirable), and manual handling. Comfortable working as part of a larger team and willing to support others where required. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all panels meet quality standards. Natural focus on Health and Safety within the factory environment. Own transport needed due to location. Responsibilities: Using hand and power tools (full training provided,) as part of semi-automated production line, to build open panel timber frame wall units to help in the build of new homes. Operating on a semi-automated manufacturing line, producing open panel timber frame wall units. Rotating across various departments to gain new knowledge and skills. Cutting materials, inserting thermal insulation, stapling, inserting lifting straps, fitting plasterboard, and wrapping finished products for transportation.
