Role To help our client broaden their impact and take what they do best to the next level, they are looking for a driven, strategic and passionate Fundraising Manager to join their existing team. You will play an integral part of assisting them with continuing to raise awareness and support of their cause, and more specifically, helping raise sufficient and essential funds to be able to do so! The role will include lots of face-to-face relations, require a commercial and financial awareness and overall be a particularly fast paced position. In addition to the above, as the Fundraising Manager, you will: Head up various projects and activities, often with multiple activities that are underway at the same time (also at varying stages, from conception to running of). This position will aim to develop wider community support and in turn increase funds gained in the community. Continue to grow and develop corporate, individual sponsor, and fellow foundation/charity relationships. Take a proactive approach to identifying and pipe-lining new sponsors, funders, and donors as well as building on existing making sure all opportunities are maximised within each. Work towards annual revenue targets, seeking to increase charitable income through effective strategy, ensuring the organisations values and goals are at the heart of everything you do. Conceptualise, map and direct campaigns, events, etc. Generate written material such as letters, grant proposals and also work in partnership with the wider comms and marketing plans. Carry out ongoing analysis of fundraising performance. Report all findings to senior management and board members. Requirements As the Fundraising Manager, you will have at least 3 years' experience within a similar fundraising position. You will offer an engaging personality, outstanding relationship and rapport building skills, an organised and methodical way of working, with proven success of raising significant funds from a variety of sources. To ensure your success as the Fundraising Manager, you will also: Deliver clear and informative communication skills (both written and verbal!) Have previous experience within a non-profit organisation (highly desirable). Be IT proficient, with the ability to adapt to various software. Be able to work efficiently, prioritise well and offer exceptional project management skills. Have a fantastic work ethic and moral drive. Also to note - If you are looking to make a transition into the non-profit sector, someone with business development or related experience, proven success in building fantastic relationships (b2b and b2c) and increasing revenue may also be considered. My client, a charitable foundation is currently recruiting for a highly organised Fundraising Manager to work on a part time basis. The Role of the Fundraising Manager: The fundraising role is key to developing the fundraising strategy and lead its delivery, prioritising donor care and supporting the trustees to achieve income targets, adapting strategy as necessary. You will help identify and grow the donor base with a mixture of Corporate Donors, High Net Worth individuals and other individual donors to ensure the organisation is adequately funded to deliver its charitable activities. You will create budget tracking and monitoring tools to enable timely reporting strategy.
