You will be under the guidance of a Principal Scientist and the Product Development team and will play a crucial role in the design and development of PoC NAATs, assisting in various aspects of laboratory operations. Job Title: Customer Support Engineer Location: Bradford-On-Avon Salary: £30-32K Hours: Full time Are you educated at NVQ Level 3 or above in Engineering, and looking for an office based position where you will be responsible for supporting customers with technical product support this may be the opportunity for you. Our client is a market leader within their industry, and they are looking to expand their current support team with additional engineers as part of their growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to continue within their career path, or an experienced engineer looking to move away from a shop floor position and into an office role. Full training will be given on our client's products, and the role will involve working with engineers from other disciplines including software, robotics, hardware to name a few. The main duties will be: Supporting customers with technical support via various means including telephone, email etc. Liaising with internal departments when required, escalating technical issues to ensure they are dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible. Create and maintain documentation for customers. Conduct training sessions with customers on our clients products either remotely on our clients sites globally. Skills/Experience required: Strong mechanical/electronic knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of sensors, actuators, control systems etc. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Computer literate with Microsoft Word.
