Monitor project costs and provide ongoing support to project managers to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Requirements: Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or cladding industry. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite. Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Soil Sampling Operative / Outdoor Worker who has some farming or agricultural experience required for a well-established company. NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - FULL TRAINING PROVIDED Candidates will not need any soil sampling experience as full training will be provided. However, some knowledge of farming and the agriculture industry would be beneficial and you must enjoy working outside in the elements, predominantly on farms. SALARY: £24,000 per annum Company Car Annual Bonus Benefits (see below) LOCATION: Candidates will be required to visit farms and agricultural land throughout East of England and potentially further. JOB OVERVIEW We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Soil Sampler Operative / Outdoor Worker who enjoys working outside in the fresh air on farms and agricultural fields. This position requires a large amount of flexibility and self-motivation as you will be providing both precision and compliancy soil sampling across mainly Yorkshire. Although this role covers Yorkshire, as the Soil Sampler Operative / Outdoor Worker there will be a requirement for you to travel outside of this region when and where necessary. Once you've received your training, working as the Soil Sampler Operative / Outdoor Worker your duties will include: Soil sampling across the area both multiple samples per field and compliancy soil samples Contacting clients to ensure they know you are on farm and that the order is as the client expects Keep close contact with the decision support specialists to keep them up to date with sampling progress Precision soil sampling is carried out with an ATV with an automatic sampler, it is also equipped with GPS to guide you to the location of the sample CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS - Soil Sampling Operative / Outdoor Worker Due to the seasonal nature of the role and the seasonality of the business this role will involve unscheduled working hours and overnight stays. This role will also involve lone working. Although prior planning will be conducted, ultimately the role is weather dependant and there is only one chance a year to conduct these functions, therefore a high degree of flexibility and understanding of the job hours is required. Engagement of customers internally and externally is an essential part of this role and therefore the successful candidate must have excellent experience of their communication skills. A vehicle and ATV will be provided for soil sampling purposes which would be kept at the depot. The company would expect a candidate to have an ATV certificate.
