As Estimator, you will be focusing on cleaning and grounds maintenance so experience in these two areas is imperative. You will be responsible for identifying proposals and figures in new contract documentation, identify and analyse risks and build bespoke spreadsheets for each Tender. The ideal Estimator will have proven experience supporting similar areas of work and will have excellent Microsoft Excel skills. Responsibilities: Reading and interpreting detailed new contract documentation to identify pricing requirements Analysing large quantities of asset data, identifying gaps and raising clarifications Identifying and analysing risks, such as TUPE and KPIs Making accurate and concise notes on contract documentation Building bespoke Excel costing spreadsheets for each specific Tender Arrange site visits throughout the UK (many 100s per tender) and work to tight deadlines Liaise with internal departments to ensure all specification requirements are captured and costed Have a consistent approach when pricing accurate proposals at multiple sites Handle multiple tenders at different stages of pricing Lead solution innovation Ability to upload a significant volume of key data and present cost plans to external customers and the Board Ensure all processes and procedures are followed Continually review and assess company performance and consider areas of improvement Ensure the company is exceeding and leading the way in truly exceptional customer service delivery Ensure all KPIs are tracked and reported on Requirements: Prior experience with grounds maintenance and cleaning Experience with costings of staff and time IT literate with advanced knowledge of Excel (use of tablet, smart phone apps) Ability to build and populate extensive excel spreadsheets to capture all pricing elements Full UK Drivers Licence essential (company vehicle provided) Good communication skills, both verbal and written
