I am currently recruiting for an Estates Officer on behalf of my client, a leading public sector organisation based in Sheffield (S20).
You will carry out the policies as they relate to estate services in a designated area of the City.
With a strong emphasis on quality, customer care, consultation, and teamwork, you will deliver estate officer services within an area of the City within clearly established and monitored targets and standards.
The role of the Assistant Estate Manager is to support the Estate Manager in their role to ensure the overall smooth running of the buildings and estate.
Purpose of the Role
This includes supporting in the recruitment and training of site-staff whilst maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for our customers, through the monitoring of Health & Safety systems and the promotion of best practice throughout all tasks.
To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and upkeep for the common / communal areas of the organisation's estate properties.
To work as part of a team to provide a responsive and comprehensive estate cleaning service.
Based on the agreed cleaning standards, complete all duties and responsibilities using appropriate equipment and chemicals in accordance with best practice and Health and Safety guidelines.

As a valued member of the Estates and Facilities Team, the post holder will be responsible for performing varied maintenance tasks or project work including minor repairs, decorating and improvement works.
The College Estates Team is responsible for providing a comprehensive service for building and grounds maintenance, cleaning and health and safety across all sites.
The successful post holder will report into the Facilities Operations Manager, and will have direct supervision from the Estates Supervisor.
