Responsibilities: Input, match, and process payments for supplier invoices within the finance system. Engage with suppliers regarding invoice inquiries, reconcile supplier statements, and manage supplier account details. Handle subcontractor invoice entries and payments, distribute CIS certificates, and file monthly CIS returns to HMRC. Verify, record, and process staff expense claims. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all payments and transactions to meet auditing standards. Requirements: Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Assistant role or similar capacity. Proficient in accounting software such as Sage, PeopleSoft, Workday, Xero, or QuickBooks. Thorough understanding of accounts payable procedures. Exceptional attention to detail and precision in data entry. Good grasp of financial services and basic accounting principles. Strong organisational abilities with effective task prioritisation skills. Clear and effective communication skills, both in writing and speaking. Must have own transportation.
