Job Title: BEMS Commissioning Engineer Location: Nottingham. There will be a requirement to travel from home to client sites which are concentrated from the East Midlands to South East (Kent). Salary: Depending on experience Job Type: Permanent, Full time iBMS is a BEMS specialist established in 1994, working nationally from our offices in Nottingham and Cambridge. The Role: We are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated BEMS Commissioning Engineer to join our small team, but also be a part of a large construction group delivering major projects. Experience is required in TREND and TRIDIUM controllers. The role will be site-based and you will be expected to stay away from home when necessary. Key Responsibilities: To interpret bespoke control panel drawings and manufacturers information and data sheets, understanding equipment and component interactions with the BMS Conduct networking tests to enable communication between equipment and BMS, and ultimately on to an IT network Conduct equipment point-to-point tests recording the results as the project moves through different phases Familiarization with software engineering tools to allow modification and creation of software strategies Conduct diagnostics to identify and correct faults, and advise in enhancements and operating efficiencies Familiarization with end user interfaces Requirements: Proven electrical competency (18th Edition, C&G Electrical Installation, Safe Isolation of LV Systems) Sound IT knowledge, including networking and IP addressing Thorough understanding of HVAC plans Good knowledge of control components such as sensors, switches, valves and inverters Good knowledge of BEMS software (TREND and/or TRIDIUM); ability to make amendment to software onsite.
