Due to expansion, they're now looking for an Environmental Manager to join their growing team. Role: The Environmental Manager will manage day to day operations, site compliance, customer and Authority audits and support the groups other sites. This is a modern Biowaste and Organics facility with a bespoke multi use permit therefore requires a person that has direct experience within the Organic waste processing sector. Main Duties: Site permit compliance and improvements One to one experience with the Environment Agency and DEFRA On and off-site Customer Duty of Care audits Staff and team compliance training EMS, OMP and fire management plan upkeep and amendments BAT Compliance ISO Compliance PAS Compliance Reporting and record keeping you will be required to travel to other sites from time to time (travel expenses covered). Skills & Experience required: Direct experience within the Organic waste processing sector. (Composting, Anaerobic Digestion, Animal by Products) COTC level 4 in organic treatment such as Composting & anaerobic digestion. Basic Chemistry and Biology management experience, ISO auditing standards.
