We are looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to work with a range of Company clients carrying out maintenance and repair, including fabric & basic electrical tasks of buildings as required under contract. To ensure all PPM and Reactive tasks are completed to the required legislative standards. To ensure all required paperwork is completed and submitted within timescales. You'll carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports. You'll ensure all statutory and mandatory tasks are completed within the required timescales, ensure all certification is correctly completed and remedial works clearly identified. As a Gas Engineer you will also need to carry out reactive and emergency tasks and expected to complete all tasks using handheld technology effectively. This is a field based, mobile position covering the South Yorkshire and surrounding region covering the postcodes: S. DN. You'll be required to work on a number of well-known high street retail & high street banking outlets for the TS-Mobile division. The salary is based between £30,744-£46,791. Job OverviewThe Systems Development team in Arm Solutions Engineering develops compute subsystem (CSS) products and SoC's for a wide range of market segments including Client, Infra, IoT and Automotive. As part of this work, we utilize the latest IP products from Arm and selected 3rd party vendors. The team includes members in multiple sites including UK (Manchester, Sheffield, Cambridge), France (Sophia), US (Austin and Chandler) and Hungary (Budapest)!Responsibilities:As Director of FE Flows and Methodologies, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our internal engineering flows that enable system design and verification activities within the System Development team.You will work with our Engineering Directors and Technical Leads to build and agree a common set of requirements resulting in a roadmap of flow development.You will manage a small team of engineers for whom you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and line management (including assisting with the development of careers, mentoring and coaching, managing accountabilities and objectives). The flows you and your team will develop and manage include those utilised by the teams to build our design repositories and run verification including lint, formal, simulation, cdc/rdc, emulation and gate level simulations. They will collect and analyse design and verification metrics. The flows utilize both on-prem and cloud resources and work with tools from multiple EDA vendors. Required skills and experience: Comprehensive knowledge in all aspects of the EDA flow used for SoC hardware development.Strong skills in scripting languages such as python, perl and php and flows used for version control such as svn, git, gerritKnowledge of machine readable specifications, continuous integration and continuous deliveryExcellent communication skills. Team and people management, with proven ability working with global teams.
