This role will work on a full time permanent basis. Role: Engineer Location: Oldham Salary: £44,000 per annum, depending on experience Working hours: 7:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Field based work may require candidates to be flexible with these hours. Your role as a Crane Engineer will include: Working on the shop floor carrying out crane repairs including mechanic, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults Rigging and derigging company cranes Working with mobile, tower and crawler cranes etc. Completing servicing and maintenance within the workshop Maintaining service records including details of all faults, repairs, and service dates etc. Working away from home and extended working hours where rigging/derigging is needed Order parts from suppliers, chasing where necessary As a Crane Engineer, you will need the following: Previous experience with heavy plant machinery/cranes is a must Ability to work on, repair and maintain engines and hydraulic systems etc. Knowledge of the assembly/disassembly of machinery and plant equipment Benefits 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays Overtime available Overtime at time and a half Competitive salary Pension Scheme Use of company vehicle and fuel card Training Candidates with previous experience working plant machinery or equipment, or who have worked within a Crane Engineering position previously, will be considered for this role.
