Our client based in Whitefield have an opportunity for a Shift Engineer to join their Engineering Team.
The company manufactures a wide range of quality sweet and savoury bakery products, including both gourmet butter and vegan brioche buns, doughballs and teacakes.
They can bake over 1 million baps and burger buns every day.
You may also be required to assist in installing and upgrading new and existing equipment and services.
The successful candidate will provide engineering technical support to the site manufacturing operation, delivering optimum plant reliability and performance through effective preventative maintenance, on aspects of the equipment and plant on site.
Main responsibilities
Responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance on all equipment and plants on site.
You may also be required to assist in installing and upgrading new and existing equipment and services.
The successful candidate will provide engineering technical support to the site manufacturing operation, delivering optimum plant reliability and performance through effective preventative maintenance, on aspects of the equipment and plant on site.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Engineering team, the Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (EICA) Project Engineer will support the Control & Instrumentation Engineer and the Projects Team in delivering projects across the site in the drive for digitisation.
You will help ensure that new and existing process equipment is effectively controlled to both satisfy the requirements of the internal customer and safeguard a future-proofed solution.
You will also be responsible for the technical and cost aspects of project work with due regard for any relevant legislation, including health, safety and environmental requirements.
The Senior Network Engineer is expected to take ownership of the design and implementation of network solutions required by the business, while working to strict deadlines and being flexible to changing business requirements.
The role also involves providing 3rd line support for diagnostics and resolution of network incidents, vendor and supplier engagement and mentoring of mid-level and graduate network engineers.
