Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Job Spec Urgently needed Glasgow / Scotland Full-time, Contract £12.00 - £15.00 an hour Hours 8am-430pm This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Multi skilled Maintenance engineer with relevant experience in all trades (Plumbing, Joinery / Building Fabric Engineer who has a varied knowledge of carrying out maintenance duties in a commercial & Retail environment. You would be responsible for the effective reaction to planned and un-planned maintenance issues/duties at our clients properties, throughout central Scotland. The successful candidate will have; A hardworking, reliable work ethic, flexible as overtime & OOH works may be required depending on client / job requirements. Previous fabric maintenance in commercial environments, ideally Shops, offices, Distribution centres. A HSE understanding Full UK Driver's License - Clean Previous use of handheld technology (PDA) A person who remains calm, cool and in control under pressure? Take pride in doing everything you do to the highest standard. A good communicator, who understands the importance of customer service. The main duties would include; General property repairs such as fixing broken carpet or ceiling tiles, door locks, frames or handles Minor repairs to plumbing and accessories in washrooms and toilets, including sink flow checks, taps, blocked toilets/urinals etc Painting - improving aesthetics of the building (use of filler, white wash) Fire door maintenance -Door closure repairs, floor pivots, rehang doors etc Procurement of materials and equipment to carry out works. Large planned project works, range from office fit outs to distribution refits Completion of compliance/work sheets and obtain authorisation from the Client. Complying with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice in Boots. Seeking opportunities to engage with GPs and practice teams to promote services and items. Delivering efficient dispensary operations and ensuring dispensing losses are minimised. What you'll need to have. To work within our dispensaries, you also need to have completed a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent. However, if you have not previously completed this, we'll support your development to complete our training within 6 months of joining us. If you are interested in further developing your professional career, we can support you towards achieving both competency and knowledge based NVQ Level 3 (QCF) qualification in Pharmacy Services to become eligible to register with the GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician. This could then lead to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role.
