The Role We are currently recruiting refrigeration engineers with field experience in the refrigeration sector across our clients UK branch network. Although our client are specialists in the industrial sector we would be interested in hearing from you if you have commercial experience and feel able to demonstrate a strong understanding of refrigeration fundamentals. We are looking for qualified refrigeration engineers to join the fast growing engineering team. You'll be working with award-winning engineers in some of the country's biggest refrigeration customers on a regular basis, ensuring the company reputation of high quality is upheld. You will join their Industrial Refrigeration Engineering Skills & Training Programme which provides a well-defined skills growth pathway including ongoing training and learning opportunities. You will be fully supported throughout by the senior engineering management team at your branch and have access to a National Operations Training Team to help you reach each skill level and associated pay rises. Responsibilities The responsibilities in the role include, but are not limited to: Deliver high quality installation, service and maintenance work on customer sites to company engineering standards Maintain compliance with health and safety procedures and legislative compliance in all tasks undertaken Develop positive customer relationships, providing effective communication, information and guidance on site Identify opportunities to improve site safety, plant reliability and operating efficiency Work collaboratively as part of the branch team to share knowledge and deliver effectively for customer base Proactive approach to continued professional development including expanding knowledge of system/components and technologies The Candidate Successful applicants will have specialist experience in the maintenance and servicing of refrigeration equipment. Although not essential, experience of systems utilising NH3 and CO2 would be beneficial as well as general experience with HFC systems. The role: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of NPI projects from initial concept, production to customer handover. You will be required to interpret customer requirements, define customer specifications and develop robust Mechanical Design solutions to time and budget.
