The purpose of the Operations & Integration Manager post is to manage and co-ordinate the interfaces between Design and Safety, to ensure that work packages are delivered to the required scope, quality, schedule and cost, providing an overall capability within the Facility.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the management team, leading, motivating, and managing staff and drivers to execute delivery schedules for the distribution of gas supplies.Key Responsibilities:
Manage checks and controls to uphold fleet safety and reliability, collaborating closely with vehicle maintenance service providers to minimize downtime.Understand and implement relevant legislation and standards, liaise with internal specialists and regulatory authorities, and continuously improve safety performance.Maintain strict security of property and products, including serving as an emergency call-out key holder and attending call-outs when required.Utilise working knowledge of relevant legislation, safety, quality procedures, and site operating instructions.Deliver regular company briefings on Safety and Performance to all employees.Ensure sites under your control are maintained in line with company policies and external regulatory authorities.Budgeting and Expenditure:Work with senior management to prepare budgets and manage expenditure within specified parameters.Prioritise the customer in decision-making processes and ensure employees are trained to deliver excellent customer service in all areas of the cylinder and bulk business.Lead the dispatching and scheduling functions for the area, ensuring all planned delivery schedules consider driver and vehicle compliance with relevant transport regulations.Coach, mentor, and plan appropriate training and development for all staff and drivers.Conduct performance reviews in line with company procedures to create a robust and efficient operation that meets financial targets and KPIs.
