This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on ER case management, allowing you to make a significant impact across the company.
Provide expert HR advice on employment law, policies, and procedures, managing issues such as sickness absence, grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
Collaborate with Occupational Health, HR, EDI teams, external lawyers, and the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) to support staff wellbeing during HR processes.
With a primary focus on Employee Relations, this position is responsible for providing guidance and end to end employee relations case management for policy and procedural issues across Outsourcing.
The role provides oversight and guidance to more junior members of the team as needed, and will be responsible for managing employee relations issues, interfacing with leaders and managers to help establish repeatable and defendable practices in areas such as performance management, equal pay, harassment, disciplines, grievances, absence management, whistleblowing, conflict resolution and changes to terms and conditions, as applicable, and conduct rule breaches.
This is a hybrid role (Employee Relations Lead and HRBP) supporting the Outsourcing Business in the UK.
Your primary objective will be to deliver a first class customer focused Employee Relations service by providing specialist support and advice, predominantly over the telephone, to colleagues throughout our business.
You will have experience in workplace mediation or restorative practice and will be able to demonstrate how you can apply these skills in the day to day role.
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload ensuring that, cases are prioritised and will be confident enough to manage cases competently up to an employment tribunal stage.
This is a remote working position, however the successful candidate will need to be able to travel within a number of regions which includes Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon & Cornwall and London - approximately one day per month.
