We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to immediately join a large organisation to support their Employee Relations team for the next 2-4 months initially. You will manage around 20-30 Employee Relations cases at any one time and provide end to end HR support to the line managers and employees involved. You will need to come with a strong background managing an ER caseload but in particular with sickness management, grievance and disciplinary cases. We are looking for someone proactive who can take initiative and have the experience to provide robust HR advice in these areas. You will be expected hit the ground running so must have managed a high volume of ER cases in the past to be considered. The role is based on the Isle of Wight but you are only required to be there 1 day a week but our client is happy to pay for the ferry crossing from the mainland providing the cost is reasonable. You will manage a variety of cases and support employees in managing a mixture of disputes, grievances, working requests and absences support. Responsibilities: Advise and coach line managers to effectively manage all employee relations issues in line with the HR policy Collate and use examples of case law and best practice precedents in order to educate and coach line managers Act as the point of contact for hiring managers, employees in relation to HR queries Ensure effective, timely case management of people related issues Experience: Proven experience working in employee relations Strong communication and influencing skills Strong organisational, planning, time management skills CIPD qualified or working toward.
