The Opportunity Here at QBE, we have a brilliant opportunity to join the Risk team on a permanent basis as a Risk Analyst. For this position we are happy to consider recent graduates who have an interest in developing a career within Risk. We will provide training and development opportunities as part of the role. Your new role Reporting to ourERM Risk Manager, you'll have the opportunity to be involved in the internal model validation of both qualitative and simple quantitative model components. You'll play a key role in delivering ERM activities in relation to a number of business areas, which will include Issue and Incident Management and Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs). You'll build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to improve customer focus (for internal customers and regulators), including through our ERM Business Partnership model. Other responsibilities: Providing insights to the business Stakeholder engagement Being a technical expert and key deliverables About you Ability to analyse data to provide powerful insights. Good report production/writing skills. Basic knowledge of the internal model is desirable but not necessary. Good engagement and relationship management with the ability to influence. Good presentation and communication skills. Operate at pace with strong organisational skills. Conversant with risk management processes, language, and tools/systems. Experience in general insurance industry is desired but not necessary. Commercial acumen. Strong attention to detail. Proficient with all Microsoft applications. Why QBE?
