You would be working as part of a small team, building our equipment which would include installation of various control system elements including sensors (limit, proximity switches and potentiometers), gauges, lighting, and various PLC components, generally all the 12/24-volt electrical equipment associated with our machines.
On new machines you will be working from drawings produced by the engineering team so the ability to read electrical schematic drawings is required.
Respond to breakdowns on plant machinery and equipment.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and carry out repairs in a timely manner.
