The role is light manufacturing and they are a business who utilises cutting edge technology to aid the manufacturing process. The business is seeking talented individuals who are able to hit the ground running within the plastic injection moulding sector. THE ROLE Plant and machinery installation/decommissioning Routine maintenance scheduling Quality inspections on calibrated plant and machinery Timely repairs in the event of equipment breakdowns Active participation in process improvement projects To carry out duties within health and safety practices To maintain a high standard of housekeeping in line with 5s principals Work to and within the existing energy and environmental management system Work within the quality management system THE PERSON Btec / HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering Plastic industry experience Experience with Uniloy, Sabmann Injection Blow Moulding Machines favourable. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience within high volume manufacture, ideally having working with Hydraulics & Electronics before. Experience with FANUC, Ferromatik or Demag Injection Moulding Machines favourable. Candidates should have completed a time-served apprenticeship. The role is varied with exposure to fluid power (inc. pneumatics), site services as well as various improvement projects on an ad-hoc basis.
