Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer Location: Leeds, United Kingdom Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum Overview My client, a well-established utilities and energy organisation, is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering clients end to end electrical design delivery as well as installation and maintenance of solutions. Roles and Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end development and execution of electrical designs. Collaborate with wider engineering teams to create outline designs as well as project specifications. Review peer's designs and provide feedback. Manage the approvals process by clients and third parties ensuring alignment with project requirements, schedules, and budget constraints. Ensure the implementation of electrical designs occur safely and efficiently within live sites. Generate comprehensive reports and documentation following document control procedures. Requirements BSc or BEng in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering 3 years of commercial Electrical Design Engineer experience. Hands on experience working with transformers, low-voltage/high-voltage systems, CHP, and related systems. Advanced skills in electrical engineering designs and strong understanding of construction principles/processes
