Based in Wolverhampton and reporting to the Mechanical Design Manager, the Mechanical Design Engineer will be working on the design & delivery of complex mechanical handling, machinery & process systems for heavy-regulated applications in the Nuclear Sector (including Nuclear Defence, New Build, Modular Reactor & Fusion / Fission Energy Projects).
Qualification & Experience Required for Mechanical Design Engineer role
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar (Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering etc).

Specifically, the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be leading a small team of Design Engineers to deliver concept-engineered solutions against complex requirements through the design lifecycle (from Front End Engineering to Detailed Design production), ensuring that the designs meet the requirements of the project and are compliant codes & standards.
Based in Wolverhampton and reporting into the Mechanical Design Manager, the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design & delivery of complex mechanical handling, machinery & process systems for heavy-regulated applications in the Nuclear Sector (including Defence, New Build, Modular Reactor & Fusion / Fission Energy Projects).
As an Electrical Investigations Technician you will be working within our Product Assurance Team to Review, evaluate and investigate a variety of assets, including Smart meters, In home displays, communications hubs, Electric Vehicle chargers, and a variety of other new smart energy solutions.
You'll be providing technical support on a wide range of smart assets and products, playing a key role in ensuring that we provide equipment and solutions to our customers that comply with all technical, safety and quality regulations up to National Standards at all times.
