You will work as part of a small purchasing team with responsibility for all purchasing activity and supplier order book management for nominated projects, including sourcing of electronic commodities. In this Senior Buyer - Electronics role, the responsibilities will include: Purchasing of a number of high value and complex electronic products. Managing new enquiries and repeat projects including prototyping, selecting suppliers Collating quotes, analysing and negotiating with suppliers for fixed annual pricing in order to maximise company returns Assist sales with new business quotes when workloads require. Data entry and record amendment on ERP system The ideal candidate for this Senior Buyer - Electronics role based in Hertfordshire will have the following qualifications/experience: Previous proven experience within a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment Experience with ISO9001, ISO13485, TUV, UL Standards Knowledge of electronic systems and components, associated costs/pricing and influencing factors Ability to read, understand and extract technical information from drawings.
