Empowering Learning are currently working with a school in Surrey / South West London who are looking to appoint SEND Teaching Assistants for a variety of day-to-day, short term and long term bookings.
Special Needs Teaching Assistants support students with special educational needs (SEND) in the classroom as directed by an SEND teacher in order to help pupils succeed with their learning.
The school caters for young adults (16-25) with Special Educational Needs and is based just outside Heathrow airport.

Key Responsibilities
Support schools and other council officers in the identification and tracking of children missing education in line with Hillingdon's CME policy.
General
The Child Missing Education Officer will be responsible for ensuring that the London Borough of Hillingdon carries out its responsibilities to the highest possible standards and in accordance with legislation and Hillingdon's CME policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will be the lead officer for Children Missing Education and support the work of the Access to Education service.
