The Graduate Soil Scientist selected for the position will work on a variety of ground investihtaion projects, to familiarise with different challenges and sites. You'll be contributing to the supervision of ground investigations, Phase 1 Desk studies, carrying out risk assessments and collecting soil samples for analysis. Report writing skills will be developed over time. The successful Engineering Geologist will therefore: Have a degree in geology, earth sciences, environmental science, geography or a heavily soil focussed subject. Have exceptional communication and time management skills. Hold a valid UK Driving licence. Be commutable to Newcastle upon Tyne. Willing to travel to sites and work in office.
