Job Description: As an Early Years Teaching Assistant in our under 2 provision, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to our youngest students. Working closely with the class teacher, you will assist in creating a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and thrive in. Your role will involve planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, monitoring children's progress, and communicating effectively with parents and guardians. Key Responsibilities: Assist the class teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for children under 2. Support the learning and development of children through play-based activities and interactions. Monitor and assess children's progress and development, keeping accurate records. Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress and needs. Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other staff members. Follow all health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of the children in your care. Requirements: A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or a related field is required. Previous experience working with children under 2 years old is preferred. Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
