We are seeking a highly experienced, motivated and results driven individual to lead the Private Sector Housing Team and deliver quality services to our residents and businesses.
Possessing an extensive knowledge of the relevant legislation, codes of practice and guidance, you will ensure that the council undertakes and meets all relevant and associated obligations within disabled facilities grants, housing conditions, home improvement loans, HMO licensing, empty properties, and caravan site licensing
You will need a qualification in Environmental Health and in particular detailed knowledge and experience in the area of disabled facilities grants as well the regulatory private sector housing work areas.
We own and manage c.7,500 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities.

We are looking for an Adults Social Worker Level 3/Band J for My Front Door Team.
The My Front Door Team are part of the Learning Disability Transformation Agenda within Rotherham, and work with individuals to promote independence and access to their own front door.
Somerset Council are currently recruiting for an adult Social Worker to join a hospital discharge team at Bath Royal United Hospital to support discharge planning.
This role is for a full time locum working 37 hours a week and will be based on site daily.
