They are currently seeking an experienced Client Manager to oversee the import/export operations of the Fine Art / Antiques. Experience within the Fine Art industry is essential. Our client requires someone proficient in all aspects of import/export operationscovering air, sea, and road logistics, including paperwork. The ideal candidate will be self-reliant, able to oversee shipments from beginning to end, and quickly adapt to using our client's software. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee the import/export logistics of fine art shipments, ensuring timely and secure transportation via air, sea, or road. Manage all administrative tasks related to import/export operations, including documentation, permits, customs clearance, and insurance. Communicate effectively with clients, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient handling of shipments. Provide guidance and expertise to clients regarding shipping regulations, packaging requirements, and best practices for transporting fine art safely. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and preferences to provide tailored solutions and exceptional service. Monitor shipment progress and address any issues or delays promptly, keeping clients informed throughout the process. Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, operations, and finance, to streamline processes and optimize service delivery.
