The Role
You will be joining WTW as a senior actuarial student consultant with experience working on core UK defined benefit pensions actuarial work.

We work with a wide range of clients and your work may cover both trustee and corporate assignments.
As well as providing advice on regular valuations, accounting, PPF levies, individual calculations, and factor reviews, we often work alongside our clients on innovative, market-leading projects.
The WTW Transactions team advises trustees and companies on their de-risking strategy and advises on the implementation of longevity hedging transactions (buy-ins, buyouts and longevity swaps) as well as evolving propositions in this area, including superfund transactions and third-party capital solutions.
Overview of the role
WTW's Transactions team advises clients on transactions ranging in size from £1m to £16bn.
Our team has experience of successfully completing over 750 pension de-risking transfer transactions, and is at the forefront of this market, having led the advice on around 35% of pension risk transfer over 2020 - 2022.
