Our client produces and owns large-scale business events, these can be in the format of a conference, exhibition, summit, congress or a business festival. The role - Office Manager Be the first point of contact for guests, staff and general enquiries. Ensure the office, meeting areas, washrooms and tea points are kept presentable, and the rubbish and recycling is maintained daily through the cleaning contractor. Be the office Health and Safety point of contact and Fire Warden and undertake any necessary training. Manage the meeting room booking system and entry system. Update the visitor log daily. Provide general administrative support for employees. Organise the office layout. Assist with onboarding and enrolling new starters in the learning management systems. Liaise with building and facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, landlord and security system services. Assist with staff travel bookings and management. Keep a record of costs relating to office expenditures. Audit office facilities and furniture bi-annually and report anything needing repair/replacement. Manage and order stationery, office and catering supplies, check stock regularly, and order and replenish supplies as necessary to ensure that supplies never run out. Attend events when and if required. Maintain login usernames/ passwords. Assist with project management of office refurb. Experience and skills Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager, Operations Manager or Administrative Assistant. Knowledge of Office Manager responsibilities, systems and procedures. Proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word). Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritise work. Pro-active approach and the ability to use initiative daily. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment. A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.
