Temporary Events Executive - Professional Association - Central London, SW1 / Hybrid Working - £18-19.50 / hour Temporary role that could convert to a permanent position Central London offices Previous experience within an events operations role is sought Travel may be required (with overnight stays) for events Ability to work outside of core hours when required for events (these will be paid hours or time off in lieu will be offered) We're looking for a flexible, proactive and client focused Events Executive / Events Coordinator to join a large professional association, based near Victoria on a temporary basis. The Events Executive will be responsible for the successful operational delivery of a portfolio of live, virtual and hybrid events (conferences, seminars, webinars, competitions and lectures etc), providing pre-event and on-site operational support as needed. Please note: this is a temporary assignment, working full time hours, until the end of July. Our client requires full attendance during this busy time, therefore they wouldn't be able to consider anyone who has annual leave / holidays booked between now and the end of July. There is the possibility that this role could convert to a permanent position. Key responsibilities as the Events Executive will include: Managing all event operations (venue and supplier negotiations, relationship management, tracking and reporting on budgets, stakeholder liaison etc.) Managing on-site delivery of events Collating all event collateral (pre, during and post-event) Acting as the main point of contact throughout each project / event Managing build-up, live vent and break-down for each event Managing stakeholder relationships Coordinating meetings Preparing documentation General administration And more! What we're looking for: Previous experience in a similar event operations role Demonstrable experience of managing / coordinating events from start to finish Highly organised nature with outstanding time management skills and impeccable attention to detail / accuracy Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels Client focused with excellent customer service skills Creative thinker with confident problem-solving capabilities IT literate including MS Office A proactive, 'can-do' and results driven mindset Reliable and conscientious Available imminently and able to commit to an ongoing assignment until the end of July Eligible to work in the UK Ability to provide two written references Interested in this Events Executive temporary role? The post is to start as soon as possible and is a 12-week temporary role. The post will be hybrid working.
